Preset:
Advanced
Fine-tune only if the SVG looks too noisy, too flat, or too large.
Why this tool
- Sketch preset is tuned for handwriting, ink strokes and line art.
- Useful for brand signatures, document graphics and personal marks.
- Runs locally in the browser so private signatures are not uploaded.
- Downloads standard SVG for editing in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape.
How to get a clean signature SVG
Use a high-contrast image: dark ink on a plain background, cropped close to the signature. Avoid shadows, ruled paper, compression artifacts and low-light phone photos when possible.
The converter traces the visible pixels into SVG paths. It does not verify identity, create legal signatures or remove complex backgrounds automatically.
FAQ
- Can I convert a scanned signature to SVG?
- Yes. A scanned or photographed signature works well when the ink is dark and the background is clean.
- Is the signature uploaded to a server?
- No. The conversion runs in your browser, and the image does not leave your device.
- Which preset should I use?
- The signature page starts with the Sketch preset because handwriting usually needs lighter, cleaner paths than a full-color logo.
- Can I use this as a legal e-signature tool?
- No. This only converts the image into SVG artwork. It does not provide signing, identity verification or document workflow features.
